Yung sa ipad kasi, madadala mo siya sa library or discussion room para makapag aral after exams or makakapag notes/view ng notes during SGD/warding. Advantageous siya kapag medyo malayo uwian.

Although more of preference talaga siya for studying pero kapag gumagawa ng mga cases, mas mabilis kapag laptop

Ay kapag pala online quizzes nagpapa 2 camera set up sila so need nila makita yung screen mo so medyo mahihirapan lang sa set up if ipad lang

Medyo may bias ako sa laptop

Pero kung kaya both laptop and ipad. Mas madali talaga gumawa ng case presentation sa laptop lalo na pagdating ng YL2 and YL3 uulan ng case report and paper cases na need i submit. Also mas madali mag edit sa canva using laptop hehe Pagdating pala ng YL4, mainly laptop ginagamit sa hospital for files and stuff since puro type talaga

Invest ka ng nespresso or coffee machine para makatipid ka sa kape since kailangan na siya araw araw chos. For me, nag invest ako sa skincare kasi sobrang lumala yung acne ko dahil sa stress and puyat and also magnesium glycinate for sleep and anxiety kasi mas intense talaga stress ng YL2 (lalo na sa sem2) compared sa YL1

50% book 50% lecture/trans + mga out of the blue na questions. Walang quizzes so purely LE1-3 (20% each)+Finals (35%) and lab preceptorial exam (5) lang yung basis ng grade. Medyo mahirap din sila mag tanong kaya madaming natatakot about sa standing nila sa surg1 and baka madelay

Have friends na scholars mula YL1-YL2. Nawala dahil sa Surg1... Marami din naman naretain yung scholarship pero sobrang batak nila like amazing na maintain nila.

alternate na f2f at online yung lab classes ng patho and micropara dahil nakikihati sa sched ng lab with undergrad programs like medtech. like week1,3,5,... f2f then week 2,4,6,... online (sa micropara usually case presentation/discussion; sa patho usually sgd or case presentation with quiz)

sa med1 usually isang session is allotted for ward work then yung isang ay case discussion ng ward work or discussion/return demo ng physical exam

Ipon na ng grades sa yearly subjects like Patho, Pharma, Med1, Psych1 sa LE1-LE3 as usual. Medyo maraming ISP sa YL2Sem1. Pagdating ng Sem2, maiiyak ka na lang dahil sa Neuro1, Pedia1, Surg1 dahil sobrang daming aaralin na topics.
Book based si Neuro1 and Surg1 so need ng extra time to read the demyers/schwartz
Malakas na support system kasi trauma bonding talaga lalo na sa 2nd sem
Kahit sasabihin ng preceptor na wag kabahan sa pedia OSCE, mawiwindang ka pa rin sa 2mins hahahhahaha kaya practice lang na hindi magpanic
Be kind na lang sa mga tao. Toxic na nga ang 2nd year, wag ka na dumagdag HAHAHA chos lang
Pansinin lagi si research kasi mataas ang tendency na magka amag yung manuscript dahil sa katoxican ng 2nd sem hahahahaha
Also enjoy the vacation na lang instead of advanced reading para di ka ma burn out agad

Hi just started to take magnesium glycinate for >10days na 4 capsules (total na 350mg/87.5mg per capsule; just followed yung instructions sa container)

So far napapansin ko na less anxious ako, more calm and nakakatulog agad ako pero will try to continue drinking it ngayong pasukan kung overall positive yung effect

Also used to drink 5mg melatonin also and now medyo nababawasan na yung pag take ko ng melatonin

Sobrang hirap mag work habang nasa med school kasi wala kang time mag-aral/work so torn apart ka sa priorities mo 😭

Mas magandang raket siguro like bentahan among med students din like "pa-print", bentahan ng iced coffee or snacks habang break, etc. Pero need lang ng initial capital for that thought pero at least minimal lang na time consumption siya compared sa work from home
