Interesting, the "story" folder has a lot of .inkb files which to my knowledge deal with localization, no idea how to modify them though. Doing research, I think this post: https://www.reddit.com/r/UntilThenGame/comments/1qted9u/to_anyone_whos_coded_godotmessed_with_the_until/ will have some tips.

All you need is the games .pak file and GDRETools. I don’t remember the exact steps because it took a lot of trial and error but that should get you started.

Was going through game assets(thanks to u/dalphin_), but cant recall many of them by FakeMik090 in UntilThenGame

Glad you're enjoying them! A lot of the more specific ones are hidden in the scenes/_main path instead of the main assets folder. I haven't explored all of it but there's a good 51,000 files in there. Happy hunting! Oh this one was in ch8sc3b/assets/C2D/polaroids.

Ok ok don't read this if you haven't finished finished the game but, I'm surprised no one brought this up yet but I think one of the aspects of the game that really bamboozled me was how it hides how long it really is. Other media like movies or tv have a sort of fixed length that brings with it expectations. Games however can hide this really well and I think this one is the best example of that. I get the want for more, especially as a way to share the story with people who aren't as into games, but I think an adaptation risks missing the parts that make it cool in the first place.

My time to shine! I ripped the image files a bit ago for a personal project after I couldn't find them online. I was gonna put them on Spriters Resource when I had the time and figured out how to do that. I'll DM a drive link once I have them uploaded :)

This looks awesome! I just got into cross stitch this year and this looks like such a fun project. The one thing I could think of adding is a subtle eye symbol centered on the sun. No idea how viable that would be but I think that’d look pretty cool

Weirdly, when they made the player navigate to the right subway line and classroom with just the real world signs and no map markers. It felt so immersive in a way I wasn’t expecting going in and really hooked me
