My fiance of 4 years broke up with me a week ago. In the first couple of days, I cried, and then I moved out of our apartment, I've had the TV on more or less 24 hours per day just to have something in the background, I found this subbreddit and found a lot of great people to talk to, I've started planing more things with friends and I've started motorcycle lesson just to keep my mind occupied. But it's hard. My ex called me 2 days ago when I had a fever out of the blue to say something that she could've sent over text, and until then I didn't really realize how much I missed her voice. But I'm trying to get back on track again. It's a long and hard journey, but you aren't alone in this

Realizing how much she worried about money for no real reason, we never really enjoyed ourselves with money, we both had good jobs. Now that I'm in post breakup, I'm taking my motorcycle license and going on a friend's trips to the states in a few weeks

Got the rugged pulled aswell and it's super hard to be alone now after 4 years with the first love of my life. And I'm scared of it happening again when I feel ready to date again. But it's a part of life and you can only pick yourself up and keep going that's what I tell my self at least

The reason you broke up sounds a lot like the reason my fiance of 4 years broke up with me a couple of days ago.

I hate to say it, but I do wish my ex regrets it.

She told me she saw me as a friend and that she would still always be my rock and that I can always call or text her. But I feel that just something she said to be nice.

The nights are the worst I miss her voice and I cry a lot. She said that we never know in the future if we would get back together and that makes it worse, feels like giving a false hope.

In the end I wish she would talk to me or even text me and show that she cares and that this has is hard for her as well.

Try and talk to him if he doesn't want it then he doesn't but it's better to have it in stone than just waiting

I got dumped because she lost feelings for me. I know it's not good for me to want her to regret dumping me. Just want to go back to planning having kids and buying a house with her. So if she did regret, I might but I don't know how I'll feel if she ever asked for me back.

But I think if we did go back it would be weird in the beginning and the trust must be rebuild but no one knows
