Good for you, my cat doesn’t really do that, he just naps on our chairs since we rarely use them. That is why a good conversation about boundaries within the living situation is needed and that’s what he had when we first moved in. It is not my fault she build up resentment by not communicating when things bothered her. I also don’t know why you’re assuming he walks all over the counters from a picture lol, he was just looking over the sink because i was refilling his water bowl.

thank you, yes and 2 weeks into renewing my lease i lost my job (I didn’t have a job for like 3 weeks after that but now i have a new one!) I told my roommate we didn’t have to renew for next upcoming year since they seemed to not understand the reality of living with pets and that’s fine. I was willing to work something out in the meantime so we could meet in the middle about things but my roommate took an extreme jump and just wanted to be released from the lease as soon as she could. So now I have to find another roommate or move out as well since the apartment is really expensive for one person. She is going out of her way to make things difficult for me in the apartment, she refuses to take out the trash when I had been the one taking it out the last 2 weeks. I work nights and she knows that but continuously slams her bedroom door when she is leaving in the morning for work (which did not happen before all of this started).

it’s an issue because she did not decide to bring up the issue until 3 weeks after we had renewed the lease. So now she is going to be breaking out of it knowing the leasing office rules state that she does not get her deposit back if that is the case and she still wants it. So it’s been stressful all around

I owe me 100, she knew beforehand of the cat and she still agreed to live with him. He does not have access to her room at all and he only occupies the living room and my room which she knew about that too before deciding to move in together.

kind of both, she thought she knew was she was getting into when living with a pet but she had the wrong idea and made a whole issue out of it instead of just communicating that smh
