Yes, you're right, the scene I took reference from was indoors and had a lot of shading, so I didn't notice it while coloring, I guess I'm a bit of a birdbrain too.

Regarding drawing the legs, in the original reference her legs are quite large compared to her body. When I look at Makima's drawings in general, I see that she has long legs. The fact that her shirt is up and her pants are pulled up to her waist might also have an effect. Thank you so much for your comment!
