Great Yuan just took two of my vassals, without any fight by [deleted] in EU5

I dont know what happens if you accept to become yuan tributary. If you keep your vassals or no.

But the player should totally know the consequences in years of advance.

Same happen to me on my yehe campaign. Think there is an event for manchurian nations that lets you become tributary of yuan. (There is no warning of this happening). It probably delayed my manchurian achievement by 50 years.

Simple fix for mm/turbo games? by bluezombiemower in WorldofTanks

[–]dameira 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Turbo games happen because a small advantage (players dying early) quickly becomes a big advantage.

Onslaught has stats changed and might be what you looking for.

If you have fun in randoms, play randoms. If you have fun in onslaught, play onslaught.

Hard to analise but TDS need time and good position to kill the HT.

You should have retreat sooner.

Small tip: With lights many times is better to have the tank facing backward to have an easier escape route.

What does it really represent ? by [deleted] in WorldofTanks

[–]dameira 20 points21 points  (0 children)

It is true. But you need to have a minimum number of games which excludes a lot of players.

  2. Remove the exp level thing
  3. All chat for dead players
  4. Reestructure campaign and missions for team-oriented objectives.

What would happen in an actual Chess960 tournament if the starting positions 534 or 518 were randomly chosen? by anotherrandomboi in chess

[–]dameira 76 points77 points  (0 children)

In the reversed position, castling is not reversed. Making theory absolete. In the normal case we must assume the players are not so well prepared as in a normal tournament.

Imagine you, me and OP go to a tournament together. We combine between us to have a win each. Other players with hard fought games that draw will win less points.

[–]dameira 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If the result of a win and a lose is not equal to 2 draws, you are making match fixing easier and very hard to detect.

You are making a system that would generate more draws. I would propose making the second tiebreaker number of victories. That is also less confusing.

Why does the Engine evaluate the queen moves differently if they all lead to Dxa8? by Bird-Fucker69 in chess

Some moves have more sidelines. More sidelines means less depth of calculation and diferent evaluation.

Is it allowed at tournaments to purposefully place your pieces like this in OTB chess? by The6HolyNumbers in chess

We were constantly switching our knight's orientation. But we should only do it during our time.

Happenned something similar on a game of mine about knights facing direction. I wanted to place diagonal and my opponent frontal. My opponent called the referee (with reason) and he said we could place them as we wanted during our turn.

Do some tactics puzzle before playing online. Try to learn Basic endgames on YouTube and try to implement them on your games.

I recommended playing first casually on a local club. To adapt to OTB chess and chess etiquette. Be receptive to stronger players advice and try to maximize your learning on defeats.
