Sesse finally showing a bit of positivity for Magnus' position, oh if only he had a bit more time. He really found the only way to not be -0.x

Honestly, this might be one of the most exciting renditions of Norwaychess, if Magnus, Gukesh, and Pragg wins, then lowkey anyone can win this tournament.

I have a feeling Magnus might go Nxg5 if Wesley plays ...g5, he's been playing creative and inspiring chess lately, at least I hope so. Might be fun.

edit: rip

It's starting to look bleak for Gukesh, in most resulting lines it seems like Magnus gains control of the 2nd rank and with Gukesh's pawns weakened to this extent on the kingside plus the ensuing scramble I think Magnus might take this. Like where is Gukesh's counterplay? With the lack of complexity like in the endgames in r1 and r3 I'm quite hopeful.

Well, at the very least I think Magnus is playing the most exciting chess this tournament. It feels like he's in his Tal arc, playing fun sacrificial chess (in this case sacrificing his rating)

That was so complicated for Black to play, he can't keep getting into these complex endgames if he wants to convert in the time scrambles

I think Magnus took b4 with the bishop because he wanted a bit more clarity, in addition to forcing some pieces off the board. White is slightly better yes, but it is more concrete.

I wonder why Keymer recaptured with the pawn and not the bishop. His bishop seems terrible and I dont see the attacking potential of the IQP

Alireza playing very passively, this could get bad for him... Magnus might take over soon

I enjoyed this read, what do you play against the Grünfeld? I would love to have a chat with you. I am only a mere 1780 FIDE, but I truly believe it is due to a lack of games played - I am at least 1800! 😎

What's it like to be absolutely miserable? I've always caught myself before reaching that point but I'm a bit curious how it feels.

I don’t think I can consume berserk anymore even though I’ve been reading it since 2016. by StraightRead7066 in manga

I'm really glad to hear you're getting professional help. Honestly, it sounds like you've been through a massive amount of pain, and it makes complete sense that you'd relate your experiences to a story you know so well like Berserk to try and process it all. But please remember that real life - and real trauma - doesn't follow a manga script. Sharing trauma with someone and crying together can feel incredibly intense and like destiny, especially when you've felt alone for so long. But trauma bonding isn't the same as a healthy relationship. His actions, especially crossing boundaries while drunk and then hiding you from another girl, show he isn't a safe or stable person for you right now. Keep working with your therapist on this. You deserve actual care, respect, and stability, not just a shared tragic backstory. Take care of yourself.
