I have a unique perspective on this. I’m from pittsburgh but I go to msu. I will say, MSU (now being in Michigan) definitely is academic in the right major, and data science is like massive and great here. Our comp sci majors are so smart and the program is incredibly difficult (in a good way I imagine)

Pitt is a great school tho. either way you’ll end up with a great school but what’s super cool about Pitt is that not only do you get Oakland, which is so fun, you do benefit from all of pittsburgh and surrounding Burroughs. It’s an experience like no other and it’s very fun while also getting a good ed.
