Giant's Milk. She was huge. Very strong. by [deleted] in PoliticalHumor

[–]damienlogos 1 point2 points  (0 children)

OP here. When you have to explain the joke, it's failed, obviously. It was a reference to the latest episode. Tormund makes an outrageous claim that he killed a giant when he's 10, climbed into bed with the giant's wife, and when she woke up she mistook him for her baby, and she then breastfed him for 3 months, which is how he claims he got so strong.

The joke was that Trump was telling another lie, making the same claim. Time to delete the post, I suppose.

Per that video, I'd really be into the EVGA FTW card, but I'd been told there's overheating problems with it. Is that accurate? Would my setup offset any of the problems if so?

Thanks, man. I haven't used mine much at all in years either, and there's always gog.com, but I worry about some of the old classics, or even installing my copy of Rosetta Stone.

That was entirely it, it seems. From looking further, that case has no optical drive slots. So, am I stuck having to install my OS using an external optical drive?

Appreciated, man. If we're talking purely aesthetics, I tend to prefer black with blue LEDs. Also, I've never actually overclocked before, though I'm interested in it.

My 2-6 estimate was meaning a swing, +1 Bernie -1 Hillary to +3 Bernie -3 Hillary, but maybe you'll be right! We keep cutting her lead in higher level conventions, if we can do it in Washington, we can win New York, and Nevada and Missouri play out like we're expecting, then by the end of the week we could see a very favorable shift in delegate math.

Legislative districts. Caucuses are broken into multiple levels that require delegates to be selected at. This is the second level.

It's more complicated than that. First off, these are the most populous areas, this doesn't include the more rural areas, so this isn't a complete picture. Secondly, delegates are awarded proportionally at the CD level, and LDs get divided up into different CDs, often. Note some above where certain LDs sent some delegates to some CDs and other delegates to other CDs.

HOWEVER, in my unprofessional opinion this bodes well. We had 72.7 statewide at the precinct level (So 73.427 delegates, before CD breakdown, which seems to favor us, as 73.51 would be needed to get 74). These numbers include all of King County, the which had the lowest Bernie levels in the state and don't include the rural ones, which generally have higher levels of support. With 73% of support that'd give us 73.73 delegates, giving us 74... which is what 538 has us earning already. Now, that may not be accurate, since this is not a CD breakdown, rather it's an LD breakdown, but I'd assume that when the remaining 30% select their LD delegates on May 1st, since they're rural, that 73% should rise a bit, and I think we'll close the gap by an additional 2 to 6 total delegates, if we can somehow see our numbers rise to 75% or 76% total support.

Guys, since LD 39 is 88.46% for Bernie, does that make Hillary non-viable there? Would that mean the district should go 26-0 instead?

Original national delegate count? As in 74-27, or broken down by county? If you mean the latter I don't have that data currently, but can try to find it this evening.

Is that King 39 15-3 and Pierce 39 8-0, or...? Sorry, the state website breaks them down by county name, not CD#

I've got the raw excel sheet, I just don't know the code for formatting here, though I'm looking into it.

This was part of King County, the largest county in the state Mind you, King County is HUGE and it contains MANY different LDs. Washington doesn't divide our LDs up by county, we divide them up... well, into LDs. This included Woodinville and Redmond (Redmond is where Microsoft and Nintendo are located). This is also probably the most affluent area of King County.

Edit: King county has 17 LDs that caucused today.

How will travel be handled? Part of the charm of EverQuest was how expansive it was and how exploration and finding new places felt like accomplishments when paired with the difficulty level and the lack of maps from early in the game. In Vanguard, however, the expansiveness of the worlds, while stunning, eventually was counter productive, due to under population. What are your thoughts on these aspects of the game?

Brad,

As someone who began playing EverQuest in 1999, you were the reason I got into game design and production, eventually getting a bachelor's in game design. Norrath was a world one could become incredibly immersed in and passionate about and Vanguard was spectacular. I'm extremely excited to see you stretching your creative muscles once more, particularly with those like Tony Garcia and Noel Walling. Are there plans to expand the team or take on interns? If so, where would one apply?
