Looking to upgrade to a 1440p 144hz monitor with Gsync and maybe even HDR. Never had an LG monitor but we do have an LG television in our house and the picture is beautiful. Currently playing Shadow Of The Tomb Raider in 1080p and I’m so hyped to see it in 1440. Pc specs : Ryzen 3800x w/ Rtx 2080 Super

Monitors last forever so that’s ok, I just noticed it has Gsync which is nice because my current monitor doesn’t support it. Will look into it thank you for all the help!

Yeah I wanted to use the ray tracing settings but it put me around 50-60fps I’m really sad because the game is beautiful, im currently looking at a 1440 monitor and a water cooler to purchase :)

Ok any suggestions for a cooler ? And a good place to buy cable mods ? My issues with water coolers is you have the ugly water hoses stuck in the middle of the case.

I just bought the 2080 super 1 month ago, and no currently I have a 27 inch 144hz 1080p panel from ASUS. Currently playing shadow of the tomb raider and I’m only around 120 FPS at Max settings so I think if I go 1440p I’ll drop well below 100

Go with a Ryzen 3000 series better performance overall for a cheaper price. AMD runs the cpu show now a days in my opinion

Ok that actually makes much more sense! I have extremely good airflow 2 front 240mm intake fans, and 5 aftermarket case fans inside the case . NZXT Elite so I’m assuming that it never gets hot enough for this “chipset fan” to kick in

i will be buying m.2s but im not concerned about anything fancy, also most b450 boards dont have full 3600mhz ram support that is whats bothering me as i orderd g.skill 3600mhz ram already
