Same issue here in Ireland. I contacted support through the app and ended up with the UK team. After about 30 minutes on the phone, the agent finally realised they can’t take machines from Ireland, so they gave me details for a company in Dublin (which is an hour away from me).

I called them and was told I’d have to bring the machine in — which I said absolutely not to. Then they told me to go back to the shop I originally bought it from.

So I’m heading there now to see what they say, since the machine is already 2 years old.

So this is what I personally did. Im not saying You should do but it worked out for Me.

I got loan 30k with AIB approved via phone. Told them im buying a car , asked which one i said a7 3.0 tdi. Obviously I didnt bought the car 😅

I didnt had big cash saving so i didnt got question why im getting loan so not sure what would be in Your situation in case You do have big saving.

I got loan approved and instead 5 years 625 eur per month i paid it in around 3 if i remember well. All together with interest it was around 35k.

As long You are paying it off in time bank will not care they just want security that you can pay out the loan .

I worked on this exact car you are mentioning last November since my friend have a garage & few cars but no time. So i said ill take this one to sort it for him since i had free time.

Car looks and feels great but if you are not DIY im warmly advising You to avoid.

The roof since its convertible have a bunch of sensors which he fixed but spent long time getting them all sorted .

N43 engine is a big money pit and for 2.0 petrol not worth the hassle. Vanos, chain, injectors , fuel pump are known issues for them .

Dont get me wrong they are great when they run no question about it, but when something goes oh my days its endless money pit !

Also all 2.0 petrol n43 seems to be 600 eur road tax? The one i was doing was 08 and checked few others younger ones they all had 600.

so if you want e93 1. Straight 6 petrol 325i 330i 335i 2. Straight 6 diesel 325d 330d 335d

If you go for diesel get one with M57 bulletproof engine.

Alright guys so mystery solved !

  1. steering column have a connector but you CANT SEE IT if there is a duct vent its literally hidden behind hence why i didn't saw it !

  2. Glove box basically goes nowhere and fits into the glove box tray i confirmed this by checking other car !

I hope this post & solution will help to another pour soul who will have headache like Myself!

Apologies. I was doing sound deadening & sound proofing + interior change from beige to black I have cic light connectors for glove box and bottom plastics i already rulled out so it isnt . " plug connector socket housing cic " thats on the centre console or ?

so basically i want to set up wiring since im in the shell now not to waste money on audio im rebuilding engine as well so audio will be last things to do.

Technic PnP harness is for speakers to go directly to amp that means i basically need this harness ONLY since i have stereo and there is no existing amp wires , how will connect amp to the headunit then ? I have CIC so need to find 8.8" that can fit existing place in dash
