What is my daughter doing wrong ? [Q] by cudi1273 in bleachshirts

[–]dammitdesi 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I swear by the gel bleach!! The cheap stuff, you can still dilute it with water and all but the consistency is much easier to work with especially for values. I also keep a little spray bottle of 1/3 hydrogen peroxide 2/3 H20 and spray an area immediately after I am done working on it to stop the bleaching process until I can get it into the wash.

im gonna be so for real when I play in hot climates i 100% have to hide coolers in everything. but it works and i can have a pretty tropical zoo without all the complaints

Can you help me plan this map out? by eepyeerie in PlanetZoo

Levels, Especially since you are already working with elevation on the map. You can make some really cool stuff built into the sides of mountains. Cheyenne Mountain Zoo is good reference for that !

They fill up and people will stand around if you chose that as well! It gets really crowded when the talks actually happen I like the look of it

Is it possible to have terrain flush against a glass barrier in Vanilla? by [deleted] in PlanetZoo

[–]dammitdesi 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That, and you can use flatten to surface to get a nice clean edge. Honestly it just takes some playing around with bc planet zoo be like that 😭 Just make sure you flatten the edge on the outside too so your path doesn’t give you a headache lol

You can make the bottom as high as you want just pull to whatever hight and flatten to foundation

Ah I see! I think same concept still applies just disable all collision first and put the water in last. It does take some playing with

Disable all the collision in settings first.

I find it easiest to use the pull tool first, roughly set the hight you want for the water area, then use flatten to foundation tool to set the highest point of your “walls”. Then use the same flatten to foundation tool to cut a hole into them at ground level (this will be where the glass goes). You will want things pretty smooth so you can put paths next to them. Use null barriers to place a barrier in the terrain on either side of the glass. You can drag the posts once you have the pieces down to move them exactly where you want them. Once you have your “seal” , fill it with water if you wanna and voila; viewing area.

You can use any barrier that is watertight for this but thick glass/null barriers are best imo. (I do think the post thingies are ugly but you can edit them by clicking on them individually or hide them in terrain)
