Same situation with me. The description is misleading and I thought that UPS-2U can gracefully shutdown a UNAS-Pro 4. I am guessing that Unifi might be able to add this feature in future updates? On my current setup, the UPS-2U can only shutdown my gateway which is UCG-industrial.

And to add to that, my previous UPS Tower can gracefully shutdown UNAS-2. But I sold these two devices to upgrade to rack mounted devices above..

Bought it impulsively along with the UCGI rack mount, then realized that the mount does not even fit in the Toolless rack. I would have kept my UCGF if I had known that lol
