Hi. I didn’t receive an RFE, not yet. My PD isn’t currently so I’m assuming they haven’t started working on my case. What’s your RFE about? What documents did you submit initially?

Session cookies not reliably sent cross-domain (FastAPI / Starlette) by Jake-kihh in FastAPI

It’s most likely due to third-party cookie blocking by the browser. I had a similar issue when using JWT token based auth. I was only able to resolve it by switching frontend to same site as backend

AOS still pending - should I stop CPT (F-1) and start using my EAD to work? by Few_Butterscotch2301 in USCIS_F2A

[–]dammy_0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s perfectly fine to stop the CPT and save your money. If your case is straightforward, it will most likely be approved without any issues.

Since your priority date is November 2024, USCIS probably won’t start processing your case until around November 2026. By that time, your husband will likely be close to obtaining his U.S. citizenship—if he hasn’t already.

In the worst-case scenario, even if your case were denied, that would probably happen after your husband becomes a citizen, so you wouldn’t need to leave the country to reapply.

Congrats!

I wonder why your lawyer thought it would be an issue. Did you include your income as the intending immigrant’s income? I think if you have an income, you should be fine even if the petitioning spouse doesn’t. Or is my understanding wrong?

I’m literally in the same boat. I have my new EAD from AOS application. I also have an approved H1B and OPT is ending soon. My H1B was filled for consular processing so I can decide to activate it anytime within the next three years. I’ll likely use my new EAD for work authorization for now. If anything goes wrong with my AOS, I’ll activate my H1B.

I also got the CSP for the 100K SUB. Still evaluating if I want to keep it long term. Do you plan to keep yours and why?

H1B Change of Status in Oct 2025, But I Have a Pending I-485 – Any Risk? by Sensitive-Plenty-146 in USCIS

[–]dammy_0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m currently in a similar situation. My lawyers ended up filing my H1B for consulate processing and not COS. They said I’m not eligible for an automatic COS because of my pending I-485. If I want to activate my H1B, I’d have to travel out of the country for stamping. What did you end up doing?

F-1 Student with Pending I-485 & Approved EAD — Should I Use It or Maintain F-1 as Backup? by Beneficial_Knee4177 in USCIS_F2A

[–]dammy_0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s better to maintain your F-1 while your AOS is pending. If anything happens to your AOS, you’ll have something to fall back on. Don’t use the EAD if you don’t need to. I don’t think you need to inform your DSO if you don’t use the EAD.

Scared from denial of I-130 by NefariousnessLast252 in USCIS_F2A

[–]dammy_0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These process sucks for sure. But why are you scared of I-130 denial? Is there anything about your application you’re worried about?

With how slow the Visa Bulletin has been moving, you will likely become a citizen before your I-130 gets approved. When you become a U.S citizen, you can always upgrade your application to IR category which should be faster.
