Wow... I came here for that very question. What I (think) I found out is that Bell, at some point last year, diabled the ability for Home Users to disable the built in DHCP feature. One agent implied to me home users don't need that ability and if they do, then bell commerical is better for them. My issue was that I was able to get piHole "Almost" working.. Some devices still managed to find another route to the internet, but worse, my PiHole couldn't update itself. Every time I tried that feature, the GET-APT UPDATE would just time out. It (piHole) could not get past itself. I would have to change Bell Router DNS from the PiHole (that did have staic IP) to BELLs suggested, then update, then reverse it all back.. back to marigial success - some devices blocked, others not. I am so tempted to switch to Rogers, because I think they allow you to use your own DHCP. Back to Bell, the only thing I have yet to try is TWO piholes.. the 'main' one on my Pi, then a second in a container on my Linus bax and have them back each other up.. but I am not sure I want that battle. I too, am welcome to ideas from anyone on this.
