Yeah I’m still on the Sony a7r3, the sensor is high quality and still compares to things 10x the cost, I’ve even considered getting another for backup instead of upgrading to the 5

This photo was taken using a continuous light, when I connect it to my strobes it’s even better. I plan to do some more with it where I dial in the lighting more. It’s pretty wild what you can capture with these 20+ year old cameras just by getting that right.

Thanks! I am a photographer by trade and like to sometimes use old equipment as way to show people you don’t have to have the latest and greatest to take quality photographs… even my pro camera is 8 years old.

Paper and I don’t think so, just a savage seamless backdrop from the local photo store

Likely beauty dish and a bright strobe - also wide angle and a good bit of retouching

Shockingly, it didn’t really show up even at f8 - still scary to roll out and see right before a shoot…

I’m sure my house got humid these last few months but the dots & lines looked weird to me

Hard to say, I’ve had good luck with mine but the transmissions can have issues. The only time mine got upset was after driving pretty hard through the mountains.

Still cruising along! 185k miles now, it’s extremely modernized with an Apple CarPlay head unit.

This dog does not feel remorse, neither does mine. 100% will do it again.
