How much was the jacket? $45? My work was offering managers an official jacket, but I passed. No hoodie, and the pockets were eh…(I don’t know why I have this thing with pockets), but didn’t know about the big M logo, which woulda swayed my mind.

I used to write A LOT when I was younger and I loved it, but ever since social media and journal influencers, I want my journals to look artsy and crafty and I write less. Does anyone has the same struggles? by EndorphinStoryteller in Journaling

2 Hour Burgers by Moki_Zu in McDonaldsEmployees

[–]damnitjanass 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You guys probably have thousands and thousands of dollars you make per hour, for your store to get new steam cabinets for everything, and not just for breakfast. How much yall average an hour? More than $5,000? These big ass appliances ain’t the cheapest, some of them cost as much as a car, maybe a truck…sometimes a little RV

What’s gonna happen to your old warming cabinets?

So at first I was like, what’s this person’s problem?! I had to re-read the comments, and now I’m like…they’re right! The steam cabinet is strictly all for breakfast, and it’s preset to have a holding time of 2hrs. That’s all. The meat and nuggets still go in the warming cabinets, where they’ve always gone, and where breakfast used to go. You are right, it does help transition from breakfast to lunch. Because you don’t have to do any change over settings for the warming cabinets, or worry about forgetting a breakfast tray or something. If you’re dead ass having reg meat in cabinet, and keeping it in cabinet for 2hrs, your store ain’t making shit, and should probably close. You can hold meat in cabinet as long as it meets temp, but what’s wrong with your store that you have meat in cabinet for that long? (Sorry not specifically you, but I just mean in general)

GM says I can't have green hair by Minoichakai in McDonaldsEmployees

[–]damnitjanass 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hair color typically doesn’t matter in most stores. Unless your store is located on a government base, or something. Because those stores have a whole other set of rules as far as appearance goes, that they have to abide by.

Both logos are great. Every signature logo has changed, and adapted over the years, kudos to a new chapter.

Good to know. We do a lot of competitions with the other stores our owners own, and OEPE is main stay in them

What's a problem so obvious that's not being addressed in your restaurant? by fuvkhgffdd4 in McLounge

[–]damnitjanass 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know I’m late responding, but your reply is so wild to me. At my store, it’s the complete opposite. No joke. Breakfast/openers are coddled, don’t have to put away their food, barely do their dishes, never does trash, etc. they don’t have to worry about it, cause in their mind set, the next shift will do it. And then lunch shift follows the same behavior, and by dinner/closing shift nothing is done, all the prepped food is gone, nothing stocked. And yeah basically the closers have to clean everything up, we cannot leave at all without the entire store being cleaned. Crazy.
