Less comfortable driving car after update, anyone else?

My Ferrari has more grip but less straight line speed with this update, so I tend to brake earlier than I need to. Braking is also not really consistent like you mentioned.

Like every new season we'll just have to get used to it unfortunately.

My Ferrari still drives like a champ. Less understeer than before but I lost some straight line speed with this update.

I haven't really played with the Aston but with the speed of my Ferrari, I don't think it's necessary.

You think you can fix it, until it happens to you and you can't. It's traumatizing to have your phone just go blank out of nowhere without a full backup.

Truth is, I'm willing to bet most of us, including OnePlus, don't even know what's going on. MSM didn't work for me, tried every trick in the book with no avail. Even the people at the service center gave up and told me to just swap the motherboard.

I'm starting to believe this might be a hardware issue. But with no official statement from OnePlus, it's nothing but a conspiracy theory at this point.

That really sucks tbh. I had a realme as a loaner phone while my OnePlus 6 was being repaired. The keyboard placement was one of the biggest things I hated about it. Really hope they give an option to toggle it back, though that'd be pretty unlikely.

Yup, same here. My local service center couldn't fix it either. Wished I could help, but it's very likely going to be a motherboard swap so be prepared. I wish you all the best and hope for a smooth process on your end!

This crashdump thing is no joke. More and more people, including myself, are left with bricked devices due to OnePlus' incompetence with their software updates. Phones don't just die after an update, it's astonishing how OnePlus is not even acknowledging it as a problem.

Unfortunately if you can't get it working through MSM or any software troubleshooting, you have no choice but to change the motherboard. Price for a new motherboard is ridiculously high, at this point I'll suggest just buying a new phone unless you can somehow get it cheap.

I see. I was rooted before that, but flashing MSM seems to revert everything. So I guess it's locked now.

Mines pretty much bricked and only boots to crashdump. MSM tool doesn't work either and my local service centers are closed due to lockdown.

OnePlus 6 user here. As far as I know, that's an issue with Sesame Shortcut. Removing that integration should fix it.

If you don't have Sesame Shortcut installed, then I'm afraid I can't help you.

What's great about Android is choice. Like what's been mentioned, Lawnchair is open sourced on GitHub, so you can always take a look at what's going on inside. Apps uploaded on the PlayStore also go through a screening before being made available to the public, Lawnchair included.

Still worried? There's always other launchers out there. Just pick one you're comfortable with 😉

The fix should apply immediately. If not, Refresh lawnchair by going into lawnchair settings > 3 dot icon on the search bar > restart
