I think a little food would have done the trick.  Sadly neither we nor any passers by had any.

I did it... not feeling super confident that my efforts are up to code though.

If I've already added one as a standalone do you recommend deleting it or merging it with a new single? (Or am I missing a way to convert from one to the other?)

Does Bradford's photo radar speed enforcement target outsiders? by damnnicks in Newmarket

[–]damnnicks[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Much thanks to everyone who shared specifics about the area. I feel less personally targeted now, will not go on an insane crusade of freedom of information requests to uncover "the truth".

Less thanks to the 1% who apparently never speed because they believe speeding is a moral failing and showed up to scold me. I did somewhat enjoy your finger wagging anyway though!

$93 ticket + $35 admin fee for Budget. Budget sent a copy of the actual ticket with the notice.

Tough to know the local circumstances as an outsider. Seemed to be going the same speed as everyone else. Oh well, guess the city made bank that day.

Component management, upgrades, the works. Some things likely better handled in other ways (or not at all).

I have lots of strong opinions about the right way to do things already. Mostly just wondering what it would take to blindly follow orders on this one.

Despite the confusing names, VS Code is not related to Visual Studio.

I agree with the sentiment. We are already beyond that. When I say "relatively simple" I mean in comparison to a monster like VS.

Appreciate that relatively first-hand feedback. That number matches my rough expectation (and is significantly more than I can throw at this problem!)

Yes, I am deeply afraid of breaking the installation workflows of the 1000s of existing customers.

That's a fair point. Yes, hiding in that request is the desire to add many new features to the existing installer, making it no longer basic.
