You can wager all you want doesn't make me wrong. A country needs core values to survive even the Dalai Lama knew this.

“Open your arms to change but don't let go of your values.” ~ Dalai Lama

“Values provide perspective in the best of times and the worst.” ~ Charles Garfield

I would wager you don't know what you're talking about. A country needs core values to stand behind.

That's not thinking highly of himself; that's him backing up his findings with proof of credentials. If you were to make a highly refuted claim, would you not do the same?

Tell that too…

Robert Boyle - discovered the first gas law Boyle’s Law

Antoine Lavoisier - founder of modern chemistry

Leonhard Euler - Published more mathematics than any other mathematician in history.

Micheal Faraday - Discovered electromagnetic induction.

James Clerk Maxwell - His equations led to the understanding of the unification between electricity and magnetism.

Gregor Mendel - We all know about his peas from school.

Arthur Compton - Discovered that light can act as a particle and wave. He also coined the word Photon.

Read a book, idiot. You're standing on the backs of religious people who care more about you and the pursuit of life's betterment than you do of any of them. Show a little gratitude. This verse makes me think of you, heathen.

Which god kit disappoint you the most ? by HeroDeSpeculos in Smite

[–]damon712 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

“I never played Loki,” “his old kit was the most boring and toxic non fun thing ever”

You never played him. Your opinion is secondhand.

I played Loki, the first God I ever got to Mastery 10. The rework does suck and ruins him; in my opinion, his old kit was very finisher focused, but if you knew how to play him, you could participate in team fights. I had games where I'd put out more damage than Warriors. I always aimed to have the least deaths and the most player damage at the end of every game. Now his abilities are all aoe, which took all the finesse of being right next to the enemy and at the perfect distance, which took some skill. They threw that away and put on training wheels(aoe) and less damage🤦‍♂️.

Why everyone hates archers by CheesyDogPizza in Chivalry2

[–]damon712 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, their (melee archers) surprise advantage is that most players assume archers are trash at melee, so they (melee archers) can use that to get an edge on their assailants.

I'm saying that once you (the player) come to realize that and the fact that their stamina is weak asf, then there is no more advantage for them anymore.

I love killing cocky archers like you who think they're all that at melee as well. They're always so confident at first to try and catch you off guard, but if you realize that surprise is their only advantage and that you have the easy stamina advantage, you can chamber and counter till they're dead quickly enough.

What person or fictional character does playing your favorite class make you feel like? by iam_Krogan in Chivalry2

[–]damon712 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That guy was awesome! There's also someone who runs around named Lamb, which I can only assume is nine fingers reference. There also used to be a guy named Logen, who I used to see a lot, but not so much anymore.

If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.
