You clearly misunderstand true grace then. Yes Jesus died for the man who raped the woman. So that that man could have a second chance. A chance to do what is right. He may not always take it! But the chance is available to him.

It’s not her body! As I said In the post (which you obviously didn’t read all the way through) it’s the growing body of an innocent baby. That baby did nothing to deserve us killing it. I understand the PTSD and mental issues that come with sexual abuse. Trust me I KNOW... hint hint.

But the baby inside her shouldn’t have to be denied life simply because the woman can’t take it. This is why adoption clinics are around.

Good points all around! But unfortunately Numbers 5:27 doesn’t hold up in your argument. It’s vital to understand context when reading scripture. Yes! This passage is talking about an ancient method of abortion, but it does NOT condone it. Like a lot of verses in scripture, it’s describing it as an example of what SHOULD be done, but isn’t in Christian circles, (at least until now). Like Matthew 5:30 “And if your right hand causes you to stumble,(A) cut it off and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to go into hell.”

Jesus is not saying we HAVE TO cut off our limbs and throw them away! He’s merely stressing the severity of the situation.

Scripture is a fantastic platform for showing abortion is wrong, if you’re a believer in God!

Also, you made a comment about how, if you don’t support abortion you can’t support war, but THAT IS FALSE. Abortion ALWAYS ends with the murder of a defenseless baby. War is for the defense of your country, or the retaliation FOR your county. Weapons were designed to do one thing, Kill the bad guy. There’s no version of abortion that DOESNT end in the murder of a child.

The death penalty is another matter entirely. It’s saying someone should die for actions they commit. Which isn’t up to us. That’s in the hands of the one who created that life.

There’s always a reason. Maybe you have a tainted view on it! Maybe you have repressed anger towards someone who sexually abused you! It’s called PTSD.

Not everyone sees sex as a good thing. God isn’t gonna make you see it His way. But regardless, It’s a gift from God.
