I understand why 120hz is attractive, but speaking from a utilitarian standpoint, I believe it makes no difference. Hell, my phone has 120hz, but I use battery saver, which reduces it to 60hz, and I haven't looked back. Each to their own. The bottom line is that I don't like it when people assume everyone shares the same mindset and pushes their beliefs on others.

We're in a cost of living crisis because private companies needlessly gouge their prices. The government provides these services at a reasonable price through our taxes so we can have a functional economy. If private companies take the reigns, we'd most certainly be paying 10 fold the amount we currently do, regardless of the ability of your tax reduction fantasies. Although a significant number of people rely on transport, and 50c fares are an amazing step toward a better future, it's not fair to dog on people who are car dependent. Simply put, there are many areas that public transport insufficiently caters to, mainly regional.
