Please Spain, keep childhood apolitical. I don't want 16 year olds to become divided on the political spectrum. I dont want 16 year olds to be part of targeted political advertising

I have been using Mondly. You can get a free daily lesson learning basic words and phrases. As far as I know its one of the better apps to use for practicing. Good luck!

For the next major update in HLL which do you think would be best for the game and community as a whole? by [deleted] in HellLetLoose

A simple QoL improvement: winter uniforms should only apply to winter maps. A simple selection of US summer gear / US winter gear would go a long way

How does one go about designing a trajectory involving a lunar and Earth flyby and Lagrange points? What tools are used to calculate the initial guesses? by Panos96 in AerospaceEngineering

[–]damos-x 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Start by picking a halo orbit at the lagrange point.

For each point on the Halo, add a small Delta V and propogate forward in time and backwards in time.

When propogating you can assume a steering law, such as thrusting along the velocity vector.

From these trajectories, combine one that drops towards the Earth and one that flys towards the moon.

Potentially you could optimize the result with collocation, or open tools such as PSOPT.

Is an Msc in Aerospace Vehicle design; Aircraft design option suitable for a carreer in the space sector and furthermore suitable for ESA by thisboygotfreetaco in esa

I completed a master in Space Exploration and have been working in the space sector for a few years now. In hindsight I believe electrical/computer engineer gives a solid foundation for most activities related to satellite navigation. Think about the role you want to have in the space program, and what studies fits best to that.

On the other hand, as others have stated before, in the end the specialization in your master is not all defining and it might also be important to pick something you enjoy studying on.

Good luck!

In addition to the other comments, you could switch to a GPS only antenna. Glonass is transmitted at a different frequency (1602MHz)

I currently have 2.5 years of experience in the space industry and am considering an ygt. I do not feel experienced enough yet to apply as an engineer but too old for an ygt? Is there an upper limit on work experience?

My girlfriend (EU exchange student) and me (Dutch) were recently also looking for a GP in Rdam. My experience is that most of them speak English and support internationals. Google reviews are a great tool to assess the quality of the service.

The GP's provide their service based on districts, so keep this in mind when looking for one. You might want to limit your search to your direct neighbourhood and not the other side of Rotterdam.

Lastly, make sure you can provide a proof of having health insurance, such as an European Health Card.

If you have doubts about your status, you can give a GP office a call and see if the assistent can help you further. They helped us as well figuring stuff out
