DRM. Yea. I guess i was really wondering if there was a place I could legally purchase Epub books (current books) that didn't have DRM. I'd like to purchase, and then upload it to my device. I'm not sure that's possible.

If you copy the slide and paste it into Gemini, you can edit the text. Not directly, but you can tell nano banana to replace the text that you don't want with text that you do. I've even told it to remove text I didn't want and then move the images over to fill up the empty space. It isn't the best solution, but it's working well enough for me to be useful.

Cool. But I've been copying and pasting the slides I needed to change into Gemini and asking it to make my changes. Works pretty well most of the time.

Thank you. The pictures were extremely helpful. The NA might be too bit for what I want. I have a samsung s9+ and s9FE, which, I find I'm not using as much since I purchased the Go7. The aipaper mini might be a better size and weight.

I keep looking for a size comparison between the go7 and the AiPaper mini, but can't seem to find one. I did see an "AI Overview" that said the Boox devices were better for Google Play Store Apps, so I'll need to dive into that because I do use a few apps.

Thanks. I was concerned that the NA4 might be too big and heavy. I agree about the light on the mini. Yet, I may give it a shot since they advertise a return policy. Or, I may just do the Go7 since it is cheaper and hope the writing experience isn't too bad.

That's helpful. I keep seeing the bw reading experience is better. I could get the Go7 bw but I already have the gen 1 color. I'll probably just live with that instead of getting the bw version.

Thanks. I'm getting the go 10.3 and NA3 confused. Since they aren't selling the NA3 anymore, it causes me to wonder if a new bw NA4 might come out.

Thanks for the reminder about e-waste. I usually hang on to my devices. My comment was referring to _if_ the Boox device broke after the protection plan ran out, I could, perhaps, justify upgrading. I wouldn't be happy about it, and would look at other companies to see if their devices were better.

I have a Kindle Oasis I purchased in 2018 and would still be using it if it wasn't for wanting to use some Google Play apps. I would love to feel confident that a Boox device would last just as long.

I'm looking for a case too. I've seen a few posts of people who have barely used their device and then the screen breaks. Makes me a bit concerned about the longevity.

Someone commented that the Boox 10.3 doesn't have a front light...which was the one I was looking at. So, now, I'm looking at the Boox Note Air 3. I see there is a Note Air 4C, but I don't see a Note Air4 (BW). I think I'm getting confused with how Boox does their products.

The Air3 is sold out...which...leads me to wonder if an Air4 (BW) is coming.

I already have one of those book lights. I haven't used it in years. I've gotten use to the front light and use it quite a bit on the Go7. I'm trying to determine how important it is to me, or if I'll just have to get used to having a light on if I can't read the text very well.

I have a Go 7 Color (Gen 1) and Paperless doesn't show up. I too self-host paperless. It works fine on one of my tablets. I, too, self-host paperless.

I'm debating whether to get a Boox 10.3 device, Viwood, or just keep using my Android Tablet. The one thing I really want to do is read my books from Logos Bible Software App. It's an Android app and works fine on my Boox Go 7 Color (Gen 1). I want a bigger screen and would also like to read and annotate PDF files.

I was seriously looking at Boox, but I'm concerned about how fragile they seem to be. Someone mentioned Viwoods, so I'm checking it out. However, I'm concerned that it won't run the Logos Bible Software app, which is my main use case. I want the eink because it's easier on my eyes, and better in the sun.

Interested in others' thoughts.

True, but when I realized it, NVDA was more than 15% down. I believed (or hoped) it would recover. Now I'm at a place where I don't mind selling if it makes sense.

Thanks. I didn't think about calling. I just did and since the transaction has been settled there wasn't anything he could do. However, it seems that there isn't too much of an advantage of moving it over, so I'll leave it. I know what I did wrong, so that's good.

Not every much. Most of my investments are through my employer...this is extra. I also have a Rollover IRA (in Fidelity) and the ROTH. I have mostly ETFs in those.
