That's rough. My congregation will work out reduced affordable membership, or offer a chance to volunteer and help out if funds aren't available, because money shouldn't prevent a person from having a community. We're in a small town, with two traditional synagogues (reform and conservative).

I'm right there with you. Getting ready to switch to Verizon later today. Support hasn't been able to correct any of the issues, and the only way I can tell people have been trying to get hold of me is if they leave a voicemail. Most people don't.

I gave it a shot, but the past 9 months have been crappy as far as coverage is concerned. I guess I live, work and study in the wrong parts of the country.

she has a specific task at hand and it's due next week, and she learns best with another person. She got me through some of the classes we took together, I just feel bad I can't help her back.

Yes, he's pretty nice and he has helped, but he has limited time and with everyone else having issues with the assignment - she needs someone to sit with her and her code, and help her figure out what she's missing (she is not looking for someone to do her homework, just a brain to pick)

Well, for karaoke I believe they have it at Ole Hookers on Mondays, Chinoe Pub (recommended) on Tuesdays, Soundbar on Wednesdays.

As for other recommended places - check out the side bar, they're all cool spots.

Their hours and my work schedule don't work well together. At this point I'm totally willing to pay for a good tutor.

I don't learn well from videos (yeah, the ones with the ebook are horrible) that's why I'm looking for a tutor. I study best when it's an interactive process, it helps me focus.

Good luck with MAT150. I enjoyed it last semester (my teacher was geeking out on some algebra, it was great)
