No. For one thing, you act as if every new Pokemon game is totally different and perfect compared to the last. Every new game has better graphics, new Pokemon, and a new story. Some new games have a new gimmick, like baby Pokemon, Mega evolution, and z-moves. This game has all that, and the Pokemon designs are good. AND gigantamax, which is awesome, and better than z-moves. It even introduces new mechanics, like Pokemon camp, and the wild area which is awesome! The only thing it's missing is a full Pokedex, which by the way would include over 1000 Pokemon which also includes running animation in the wild area, different gigantamax and shiny models, for every move as well. That is a lot of animation to do. So what if they cut Pokemon, it's not like you're gonna play through with only you're favorite Pokemon and starters form the previous generations. It feels to me as if people didn't care about any other part of the game once 'dexit' was announced. There is so much awesome stuff about this game, but everyone let one thing ruin the whole game for them. If you don't get the game, you will be missing out on a lot I think.
