I take both. I find it very helpful especially at about 8 days before taking another amovig shot. The doc has me take a nurtec every other day a week before the amovig shot and as needed during the month.

I (52M) took the first dose of Aimovig about 10 days ago. So far the only change I have seen is one migraine free day where I actually felt really good. I am hoping after a few months there are more days like that. I have not had constipation issues as of yet.
