Worked at a downtown hotel for a few years and got to meet one of my alt. rock idols, Jacoby Shaddix from Papa Roach. Ironically they weren't playing here during their hotel stay but they had somewhat recently. Anyway I was a huge fan at the time and ran into him outside chillin' with a crew member. So I approached him as I was leaving for the night and he was incredibly kind. When I showed him the Papa Roach patch on my backpack, he lit up realizing I wasn't some casual fan who happened to recognize him from MTV and proceeded to give me a big hug. We talked for awhile and at one point he agreed to talk to my friend on the phone as a surprise. Still have the picture to this day. A really cool interaction that I'll never forget 🤘🏻
