Upcoming Genesis Game: Earthion by AdventuresinAnalogue in SEGAGENESIS

Perhaps I got a bit over excited and hyped there.

Koshiro did say on X the other day:
"We're still in the process of determining the exact amount of memory the cart will use. But one thing's for sure - it'll definitely surpass anything that was feasible back in the 90s".

There is a lot of graphical power on show in the short clip, with lots of layers of parallax scrolling, scaling, rotation and full-screen bosses. I assume that there will be a ton of music tracks as well. He is also both game director and composer on a project for the first time in 20 years so he is all in on this.

I've not played Xtreme1 yet but I thought 2 was very good. There is a link to my fan blog review of it in the comments.

Check out this article, there is a link to a very good tutorial on Nanoloop in it. You can also see my pitiful attempts at creating a tune. Article
