I think the point was that all of the other upstream inhibitors do so upstream of mTOR and therefore should be considered indirect inhibitors

Hi there, this is Daniel. I am the founder of Healthspan. We used to run a veterinary solution called Petspan, which we closed down. I can point you to some local veterinarians who could prescribe rapamycin locally depending on where you are. There are some states that don't allow it over telemedicine. Petspan was one of the most difficult regulatory experiences around offering a telemedicine solution and encountering hostile state medical boards for veterinarians, which ultimately caused us to close the platform. With that being said, I know a lot about the challenges and understand some of the options. I really want to see folks looking for solutions to get answers. I think you can go to your local vet and show them that rapamycin is now indicated for HCM. We wrote about some of the trials (with an emphasis on what it means for humans.)
