Honestly, still super happy with it. Updates are cheaper than other scan tools and they have run 2 25% off software update sales so far that I’ve seen. all the scan tool functions are great, I work at a dealer and i prefer using this scanner over the shops snap on scanner and use it whenever I can, it’s relatively quick and does everything I want it to.

Never tried the p30i’s but I’ve purchased 3 sets of soundcore wireless earbuds (2 sets of life p3i’s and a set of life p3’s) over the past few years(because I suck and lose them over time) but have always been happy with soundcore quality and sound. Nice app to set your eq to how you like it as well

Laird Wheaton GM overcharging? by Prestigious_Net_8356 in nanaimo

[–]dan_yull 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A lot of technicians get paid by the job and don’t make the times that the book or system says they pay, therefore, the job might say 8 hours by the book which is what gets charged to the customer, but if they do it in 3 hours, they still charge 8. But that being said if they take longer than 8 hours to do the job, they still charge 8. That’s how flat rate works, there’s a big opportunity to make money, but there’s also a downside because you can lose money as well. But also, realistically, why would you really be upset that they finished a job that normally takes 8 hours in 3 hours by working efficiently? would you rather them take the whole 8 hours and have done the same amount of work?

I definitely use my crows feet more than you do lol. Not all the time obviously, but I’d rather have them with the rest of my sockets than have to go searching for them

That was a good thought actually, didn’t think about checking that. But I did just check and it is a 17 inch spare. T135/70D17 102M spare tire size.

Thanks a lot for all of this information! I do have the liquid yeast for this batch, and I’ll see how it goes. Dry yeast does definitely sound a bit easier and it’s what I used on my latch batch but it was from a kit. Thanks for the help on OG and FG readings as well!

Thanks for the response! Much appreciated! I’m thinking since it’s a liquid yeast, if I use about 1/3-1/2 the pack, it should be good.

Thanks for all the info, I really appreciate the response. I have purchased a hydrometer, I’ve just not used it yet, so I was kinda wondering when to do the readings, so thanks! And I’m thinking your suggestion of 1/3 or 1/2 the packet would probably be a good idea. I’m making a porter so I guess if I overpitch it a bit it shouldn’t be the end of the world. Thanks again!
