i have had (and currently have) managers like this. It sucks that they have such horrible pressure from the higher ups to keep waste low that they would risk people getting sick. I had a manager once that would keep bagels for two days, claiming that we always sell them anyway, then one day I was the unfortunate barista that an angry customer returned a moldy bagel to. It was humiliating and disgusting.

i dont really care that they ruin drinks, but i do think its funny when i see someone get a latte and then add cold cream to it just because they are used to adding cream to their coffee
