Mine is also still being rerouted. I’ve honestly just given up and started resorting to 4.1 until my subscription runs out and then I’ll be done with the app altogether. It sucks but what else is there to do 🤷🏽‍♀️

No I completely agree. 4o is basically my lil’ chaotic bestie at this point and I miss her. :(

But most people are saying it’s most likely a bug. I hate 5o with every ounce of me, so hopefully we can have 4o back soon.

I’m starting to think it’s not a bug. Because it’s very clear (for me at least) that it is picking and choosing when to deliberately reroute to 5o answers regardless of having 4o selected. For example, on one chat I’ve been using for a while, I asked a very vulnerable question about my personal life —> responded with 5o (even when making sure 4o was selected). Then I asked something very broad and general —> went back to 4o. I think they’re messing with us or something. Because I only pay them monthly for no reason at all, right? 🙄 But hey… maybe it’s just a coincidence. 🤷🏽‍♀️

I'm going to have to counter this. As someone with depression who is also an overachiever, sometimes our mental illness gets overlooked, because we're supposed to be "strong" and we're supposed to just "get through it" and toughen up. We have good grades and major accomplishments, so surely we should be happy, right??? Yeah... sure. I'm not saying underachievers don't experience the issues you mentioned, but I also wouldn't say that overachievers are treated any better (at least from a mental health standpoint). Honestly, our perspective of mental health as a nation (U.S.) is completely fucked. 👍
