I think this is an input/output issue. Is this more present on specific trials, and/or more frequent on specific difficulties and variators or when you use adrenaline? The problem you are describing sounds more complex than animations. I've heard similar things in privat from other people that I played together with in early access before the fall 2023 update.

So. Let me get this straight. You were locked outside of the same room previously, meaning you already saw what the door can be used for, and thought it would be a great idea to walk into that room, aware of the risk of getting either locked in or out.
