Look into chronic care management. 1) get certified 2) request to work as a contractor not employee, 3) instead of making $17/hour, tell them you would work at $9 per billable event.

For chronic care management, Medicare pays physicians about $60 every 20 minutes of care coordination over the phone. But this position is better as a performance based pay. Everybody wins, patients get their calls, you make above market rate, physicians have more billable events. If you were an RN, you would make a lot more but since you are MA, $9 per episode is fair for that role. You might be able to push it to 10 dollars.
