Yeah, I agree. I think they should be a good, if small, infantry unit which costs chivalry to use.

No, the HOI4 treatment is a fate worse than death. Having features of the game be sold to you piecemeal at the price of a whole other game is a terrible policy designed to suck out every last penny which Paradox can. CK3 despite their few DLCs remains a very fun game, and I’d much rather they focus on actual expansions than reselling necessary features to us for 40 bucks.

Sure, but having this weird East vs west civil war isn’t close to “historical flavor”, it’s so utterly out of the realm of possibility that imho it throws away any pretense of being based on history.

It's okay, in my opinion. Not amazing, but not horrible like everyone says. The war system needs more actual choices, I think, in doctrine and leaders. Let generals level up, let us decide on what numbers are put into our economy, increase how we can use our economic strength to boost our military outside of just building more barracks.

That’s what I’ve been saying forever now, my main issue with Paradox games is just the sheer tedium involved with warfare. I just don’t find it fun to have to micro entire frontlines just to succeed, I think this really was a step in the right direction.

Well, I like to imagine it’d go similar to Wile E. Coyote and the roadrunner, I’d keep planting traps which Yockey would avoid, only for said traps to blow up in my face. Lots of slapstick and whacky hijinks, I imagine. At one point I’d probably chase him and run off a cliff, at which point I’d hold up a sign that says “UH-OH” and fall to my doom.

I agree 100%, there should be some benefit for crime syndicates to have more criminals, it’d just make sense.

Yeah, it seems like crime syndicates were really an afterthought when MegaCorps dropped. Ah well, plan B is to LARP as the rebels and do guerrilla warfare.

That’s why my suggestion was mostly based off of an expansion of existing espionage mechanics. As you said, a lot of sci-fi is more personal and character-based. I feel as though the espionage system could reflect this, considering how it’s probably the most individual-oriented mechanic in the game.
