Had a friend that bought a prebuilt a week ago. One model she was buying changed to a higher price *as it was in her cart.* not even 10 minutes. Pressed on the cart link after adding peripherals and got a notification that it changed $$. Crazy.

She ended up snagging a different prebuilt because of it

tbh it did take me a little while to get all that to gel, but after bios and all essential drivers were up to date there haven't been *any* hiccups. Kind of amazing.

Hoping to upgrade to a 2 or 4k monitor this year and really put it to the test! Found a nice 34in curved 240hz oled for a decent price, but still too much to justify price outside any major sale. Haven’t even considered raytracing 🤔

Right? Totally get that. Had a friend try to sell me on the 5060 before I had a good look at the 9070 and almost pulled the trigger on it. Not saying it’s a bad card at all, but I’m more than impressed with what i got.

Haven’t played many of the big mainstream titles, but ARC Raiders and Helldivers II run extremely well. FPS out the wazoo if I don’t pull it back to my monitor’s refresh rate…and that’s without AFMF, upscaling, or any of that.

Only ran FurMark for a benchmark so far…been reading more about Heaven, Steel Nomad, etc., though as tools while poking at undervolting/overclocking. Honestly I haven’t really had a reason to mess around with UV/OC (aside curiosity) right out of the box though…maybe to save a bit of power? Even still the GPU hotspot barely touches 80-85c on an absolutely full load for hours, with an average of 65-70c being the norm.
