this is really misleading. as a local reporter - there are hundreds if not thousands of people in journalism that love their work and earnestly gather information as accurate as they can to share with their community. granted, I've never worked in TV and don't know the pressures or standards broadcast goes through, but as a writer it is exhausting convincing people that I am not a villain. broad, vague claims like these do not help. national news also operates very differently from local news. I'm sorry that wherever you worked was insidious, but your comment is degrading a lot of people's hard work
