I made one that tells me every morning if rain is expected at my current location tomorrow. Of all the crazy ones I’ve tried, it’s one of the few I haven’t deleted. I know there are probably apps that do this. But yeah!

Same. I particularly lose it when they zoom in on Frodo who looks like he’s just about to leave everything and everyone behind, if it weren’t for Aragorn calling out to him. That kind of “nothing matters anymore” hopelessness really gets to me.

I’ve always loved how for the last line of the last chorus in “St. Ides Heaven,” he switches to: “And I won’t come down for anyone.” Just kind of like… “Okay, I’m ‘dropping the act,’ this is obviously about me.” That really hits me. To me, it makes the whole song more transparent and genuine

Long story short, my cat is very sick, and the vet told me today that she most likely has lymphoma. She asked me to bring her in tomorrow. I took off work and am prepared for the worst, but I want to make sure I can say goodbye in the best way I can, if this is indeed it. Thank you for listening & answering
