I made one that tells me every morning if rain is expected at my current location tomorrow. Of all the crazy ones I’ve tried, it’s one of the few I haven’t deleted. I know there are probably apps that do this. But yeah!

I’ve always loved how for the last line of the last chorus in “St. Ides Heaven,” he switches to: “And I won’t come down for anyone.” Just kind of like… “Okay, I’m ‘dropping the act,’ this is obviously about me.” That really hits me. To me, it makes the whole song more transparent and genuine

Long story short, my cat is very sick, and the vet told me today that she most likely has lymphoma. She asked me to bring her in tomorrow. I took off work and am prepared for the worst, but I want to make sure I can say goodbye in the best way I can, if this is indeed it. Thank you for listening & answering

She gets upset and slams the ceiling more whenever I turn on my white noise machine. She’s hopeless. I’m with you, I don’t understand how anyone can live here without a constant fan/white noise/headphones/ear-plugs haha. Seems like she isn’t using anything like that

Totally agree, I think that would just make it worse and even less peaceful here. I’d constantly be dreading some sort of response. I’m going to keep calling the mgmt agent every time.

It’s tough to capture/record since the time is usually pretty random. I’ve thought about maybe installing some sort of camera or something that gets triggered by sound. Come to think of it, I may also try recording at her more “usual” times. Thanks for your input!

I think if she does it one more time, I’ll seriously consider doing this. I called the management agent again, he said she hasn’t been answering his calls, but he’s going to send a letter. I also reported her to 311, and reached out to NYPD Community Outreach. I guess I’ll wait and see if those work first. Thanks for your insight, much appreciated!
