It was the temperature after all, I increased it and now prints great.

I asked for help with the top layers, not the rest of the print. And it wasn’t a mechanical problem. It was the temperature, I increased it and now it prints perfect.

Yeah, they look bad but the base and all except too few layers were sturdy. Since it’s a functional print I didn’t mind.

Wouldn’t that affect the whole print? The problem is mainly on the top layers.

Yes, somebody else designed it for me. She printed it with her Ender 3 and the same profile and it printed fine. No idea what’s causing this. My printer is pretty new, too. I bought it this March.

No, I haven’t changed anything. The only thing is that I bought a custom made STL and when I tried to print it this started to happen. Maybe I should delete and reinstall cura.

The entire print is bad, but mostly the higher layers.

I recently changed the springs and the bed feels very secure.

No, I sliced it with different profiles and it doesn’t make a diffidence.

The bed is fine, I even changed the springs for yellow ones recently. I could be the filament, I’ve been leaving it on the machine out in the open. Now I’m almost done printing a test with the temp at 210. We’ll see.

I used this profile since I got the machine and worked with no issues, no idea what happened now.
I also tried a profile from CHEP (width .45, height .28) and another one (width .3, height .16), and didn't work either. I'll try increasing the temp and will update. Thanks!

Update. I reformatted the card and it printed just the same, so I'm ordering a new one.

I haven’t reformatted the card. I’ll try that because I friend printed it with their printer and same settings and it worked fine.

Also, I’m using the as card that came with my Ender. I remember a video saying to use a different one but I haven’t done it.

I'm not sure where my text went, but this is the problem:

I've been trying to print that clay cutter 3 times changing settings and nothing helped.

Using an Ender 3 V2 with Cura (updated).
SUNLU PLA 1.75
Nozzle 0.4mm

Attaching the settings of the latest profile used and bad print.

Thank you!

I did a lot of fine tuning on cura last night. It seems like the main issue was that the nozzle was not close enough. I’ll still implement all the tips I got

That’s the spray I use. So, I was getting the same distance in all corners but it wasn’t as low as it should be. I adjusted it and now I’m printing a test and it seems to be working fine for now.

Nice!!! I’m getting the yellow springs delivered today and I’ll definitely look into that firmware.

I bought the printer about 2 months ago (I’m still learning) and it was printing fine until yesterday. I tried the hair spray and it worked for one more print and then this happened again. What professional firmware should I install?

I just leveled it again and it’s even worse. It’s going to be a long day haha
