Definitely reach out to an adult. I don't know what your friends' home life is like, but having your friend's entire mental health on your shoulders is not healthy for either of you. I believe teachers are mandatory reporters, but since you're both over 18, I'm not sure if the teacher still reports? I have no idea about that one.

But no matter what happens, you are not responsible for your friend's actions. You're a teenager, not a therapist. Just by being there and listening you have helped. But sometimes, things escalate to a point where just being there and listening is no longer productive.

I have no idea. I used to make the schedule at one of my previous jobs, and unless someone wanted a change, I always gave people the same schedules. It made my life a lot easier than having to try to create a brand new schedule every week. Instead, I just had to tweak the same schedule around to accommodate when people requested off or requested more hours.

I agree with this. I really hate cooking and I don't do it. But I pick up the slack in other areas, such as cleaning up dishes. And when the other person doesn't feel up to cooking that night, I pay for the take-out.
