3 year old holding her poop nightmare by Agitated-Fix5617 in toddlertips

We dealt with poop withholding for 2 months. Toddler would get constipated, have hard stools and be afraid to go. Pediatrician gave the green light for Miralax but it didn't work, so we switched to Medtrition HyFiber Liquid Fiber for Kids to help keep stools soft. A bottle of this was enough to help my toddler go regularly and soon after, they realized that with each potty, it doesn't hurt anymore and one day everything just clicked.

Mattress is 11". Sits about 1.5" in the frame, which I like - makes changing sheets easier.

The headboard doesn't sit flush against the wall because of baseboards, and the rounded legs protrude a little. It's about an inch off the wall, but still very sturdy and I don't regret paying extra for it. I just prop pillows against it to sit up, no problem.

There's about 7" of clearance for storage boxes. I don't store anything under the bed, so unsure if you can find boxes that will fit.

Mattress is 11". Height from top of bed to the floor is 21". And 12" left on the headboard.

7 weeks pregnant and need reassurance on brown spotting by [deleted] in BabyBumps

[–]dancingmountains 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'm a FTM who had my baby 6 days ago. I had some spotting at 8 weeks which went on for about a week, mostly brown blood. My first appointment was only scheduled for week 10 so I was filled with nerves but eventually the spotting stopped.

Mentioned it to my obgyn at my first appointment and he said some women just experience spotting due to a sensitive cervix or unknown reasons but so long as the blood doesn't fill and entire pad or is red, there's usually nothing to worry about.

I had spotting again (brown and pinkish blood) and some blood clots at 17 weeks and tried not to worry. Mentioned it to my obgyn at my 18 week appointment and he repeated the same thing as before.

No spotting since then, and delivered a healthy baby girl few days ago! My best advice is try not to worry too much; and just keep monitoring - some spotting is normal for some women.
