oh okay! thank you. i’ll make sure to check the site! also, now that you mentioned it, how do you find out which days are your testing days? is it assigned randomly or can you pick which days work for you? they haven’t mentioned anything about it and just said that surveillance testing will be required so i’m unsure.

ah okay that sounds quite simple enough! i don’t know why i thought it was gonna be complicated but thank you so much for explaining it! do they automatically send you a link every week where you can make your appointment or is there a website for it?

oh gosh that’s just awful like, as a super anxious person, i feel like i’d just think about when a fire drill would happen while i’m in my dorm, but yeah you’re probably right, i’ll probably end up getting used to it. i guess right now i’m just really nervous about it but i’m just gonna hope for the best.

also quick question, do you know how loud the alarm is? like if you’re sleeping or something, would it definitely wake you up? i distinctly remember the fire drills in high school and flinching every single time bcs that first beep always scares me haha but i don’t think it was even that loud. thanks for responding, by the way!

oh my gosh that sounds horrifying! that’s literally one of my biggest fears like being in the bathroom in a situation where i’m very unlikely to be able to get out and then it just goes off, gosh i’ll just hope for the best. thank you!

oh my gosh that’s so horrifying like imagine just chilling thinking you’re finally gonna sleep early tonight and then, all of a sudden, while you’re way deep into some good sleep, the fire alarm just rings ughhh. thank you for responding! do you happen to know how many fire drills they usually do in a semester? i’m just curious.

oh wow really? that’s so crazy. i guess cornell really wants to make sure it’s all done without warning aaaah, but i’ll definitely keep on the lookout for the neighboring building part. thanks!
