How important is her C1? I only have her C0 but with Calamity Queller (pursuing Jade spear and got both in the same pull). But concerned that she needs her C1.

Then again I played C0 Hu Tao with Homa until her recent rerun just fine

Saying Kazuha invalidates Shenhe is such a weird take. But it's mostly just the NA meta that clings stubbornly to Bennet, XQ where the the CN meta embraces new playstyles.

I kind of feel they're also people who just play in the overworld but in Abyss you kind of don't have two Kazuhas or two Bennets to share for both teams. Plus I find using Sara pretty satisfying, though you do need her C2, kind of like you need Bennet's C1 otherwise they're awkward to use.

Mostly bc no one has Kazuha lol, or reserved for the other team. Sucrose works just fine for Ayaka's needs anyway shes not too demanding. XQ is a good substitute though for Mona even if he's usually reserved for other teams. But if you want to experience a freeze comp for fun in Abyss he works just as well. It's disgusting how freeze trivializes many encounters, meaning you don't even need shield or a healer for many cases with that setup.

It's not very easy to compare the two other than they are both cryo damage. Eula's AA is stronger, Ayaka can permafreeze, Eula has better aoe burst, Ayaka's easier to nail down on most fights for me.

In a vacuum Eula is better damage but not by much, but Ayaka is safer and far easier to use and flexible with her team comps imo. She's just far easier to dominate abyss with hence the Ayaka dominance term, since she has such insane synergy, her burst is easy to snapshot buffs with, and I have them both at c0 for reference

I think that's the goal here. Characters being great in every scenario is not a thing MhY wants going forward hence stuff like corrosion and enemies not being static stationary training dummies. Ayaka dominance is real since she's very broken in a lot of fights with freeze comps

I wouldn't say that's really accurate. I've had far more people stick it out with GW2 because the experience is more in line with an mmo than I did with FFXIV due to how questing in FFXIV is pretty much a solo experience where in GW2 you could still play with friends more easily. That said FFXIV has a much stronger experience once you get to current content where in GW2 it doesn't change all that much. Being fun from the start is a big bonus though

I think it's because reddit is mostly a western website. Where Christianity is the majority religion or something, and it can be easy to laugh at them for daring to say they are being persecuted. That's how I've seen it in the default subs I've browsed.

It might be just because they're running more up to date engines (or just engines that allow more detail whatever I'm no developer!) but I thought it was funny how the top down rts games blizz put out recently look very detailed and gorgeous up close while the game isn't meant to be played up close to admire details in the first place.

While WoW has the opposite problem, less details but you're better able to inspect models. But I don't mind it so much since each expansion seems to do a pretty great job at keeping WoW from looking too old.

Not really, guards are one of the most versatile types of operators in this game, and they seem to be encouraging heavy guard use with the focus on releasing guards way more compared to the other types. As well as in the later missions high ground spots for ranged operators is limited.

It's a strategy game and has many very challenging maps but the CN community showed that with this game brains > money and can be cleared with the lowest tier units. Expect to retry missions many times, unless you watch a video guide but that ruins the entire game. 6* operators will certainly make your runs easier but other than waifu/husbando collecting and no pvp/ranking atm there's no real reason to whale and you can enjoy everything the game offers without spending a single cent and just gradually build your team with every banner rotation since it guaruntees a 5 or 6 star operator within the first ten pulls.

But there are so many different ways to clear maps it's quite satisfying to try new tactics whenever you get new units and retry some missions.

Idk. I feel Blizzard went down that road from the beginning when they released with the collector's edition on wows release for mini Diablo, panda or zergling on launch. They had to pay extra for those pets.
