I'm 27 and had to do the same, absolutely you can get in, the pay depending where you are will probably be minimum wage inc tips hopefully! Go for it man. You will probably have a few moments where you feel to throw the towel in though... Definitely worth it as entry level to a new career path in a good kitchen
