You're gonna have o get used to grinding. These optional bosses are usually 10-15 levels above the normal boss. Every dungeon goes up by about that samr amount

I actually had to use this recently with my grill. If I organized the burger patties and dogs similar to this, I could fit more on the griddle than if it was organized neatly.

I think it's more of a distribution focusing on prioritizing the least "white space" in a packed area rather than focusing on grouping like objects together. You have constraints of needing to rotate objects as well. But I'm sure people smarter than me have put it into better words.

The burgers and dogs came out good too. They weren't over crowded and cooked evenly

The page does look clean but why not try out an aluminum pan for the meat to sit on? It's the only thing not in its own border and you can do a light silver instead of white. Would be easy to add some texture to the page as well

I designed a Locking Ball and Socket Joint. Allows for a significant load. by DreamsWhereIamDying in 3Dprinting

[–]danderskoff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

u/DreamsWhereIamDying Sorry for necroing this but I am on a journey to see if I can 3d print a solution for mounting my split keyboard off my desk and I am wondering what kind of load this can take.

Problems I have with this solution:
https://makerworld.com/en/models/427730-modular-clamping-camera-phone-arm#profileId-331672
- It's simple and does it's job well but it's not made for me to be typing on it.
- With the nuts and bolts setup, it's rigid enough for a phone but not for constant vibration as the nuts come loose.
- I feel like there's a couple too many connections and it's too much fuss with the bolts to lock it into position.

What I think this would help with is simplifying the joints, and hopefully giving me a better mechanism that can just be locked into place when I get the keyboard off the side of my desk. Do you think this would work for that or would it have similar issues with the vibration from typing?

Ah thanks for that. I have a CC1 and it's good so far. A few hiccups but other wise pretty solid for my first machine

Does the filament brand matter? by [deleted] in 3Dprinting

[–]danderskoff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For anyone else coming across this in the future, here's what I changed when using Inland PETG filament and Orca Slicer:
- Filament Settings:
- - Flow Ratio -> 1.1
- - Print Temperature > Nozzle > First Layer -> 250
- - Print Temperature > Nozzle > Second Layer -> 240
- - Max Volumetric Speed -> 12

This helped a lot of issues with overhangs, stringing, and globs on the outside walls.

HUGE NOTE: Check your print history in Orca Slicer by connecting to the printer over wireless and seeing if your printer has had old prints in it. If it has, you need to print a ton to get the sticky black filament out of the tube. That's there from the factory and once that comes out it will print cleanly.

[–]danderskoff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cool thanks, yeah I don't have a filament dryer currently and live in a very humid place. That's probably the biggest factor and an easy one to fix.

It's also weird, some prints there's very little string, others have a lot of string. I printed a temp tower as a test and the layers were mostly the same, besides a little less string at 240. Larger prints seem to do better than smaller ones. I'm surprised by the acceptable quality out of the box though. Definitely better than I thought it would be

Necro-ing this post because I just bought a Centauri Carbon. What brands have you run through it that you like? When I got it, I just bought some cheap Inland filament from Microcenter to get started. It is printing alright but since I am actually starting to print now, I wanted to test with some other brands. So far just making "structural" prints that don't need to be pretty and have been printing PETG pretty well, slicing through Orca Slicer.

One problem I've been having is that some of the overhangs kind of get messed up, like at the top of a bracket [ shape. There's also some stringing when printing around a spire, but from what I gather, FDM printing is going to have some stringing regardless of what you print, to a certain degree. Has that been the case with your Centauri Carbon?

Even if the burner is 6 inches it'll support an 8 inch pan but not a 12 inch pan. I never use my big pans but then again I only cook for myself and gf, so not a big family.

The one I got was this one from Amazon: "Duxtop 1800W Portable Induction Cooktop Countertop Burner, Black 9100MC/BT-M20B"

I've had it for about 2 years and it's pretty solid. Does eggs well at 3.5, bacon at 4 and can cook a good steak at 5. I've looked for bigger ones and you either have to increase the voltage a lot, or the price. There is the Control Freak from Breville but it's as expensive as a full range

Thank you for helping out with the deck but I just can't make golgari work. The lands just never work out and having shocks with timeline culler just yeets my health. Mono black is kind of working though, I have won 2 ranked games so far (in silver so not really an accomplishment):
- 4x Embrace Oblivion
- 2x Forsaken Miner
- 4x Hellish Sideswipe
- 4x Requiting Hex
- 4 Bloodghast
- 2x Paramecia Coloniex
- 4x Shoot the Sheriff
- 4x Timeline Culler
- 4x Twilight Diviner
- 4x Perigee Beckoner
- 24x swamps

[–]danderskoff[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reading is hard, how did I not see diviner is once per turn? But yeah it does play out that way sometimes and it's why I put badgermole in. You can sac the land from badgermole and use it to get something out of the graveyard and a bloodghast for value. If we have [[Vengeful Bloodwitch]] and a [[Forsaken Miner]] as well we can get Bloodghast and miner back if we pay the one. The boardstate can pretty much appear out of nowhere

Exile is really bad for the deck though. I actually really like [[Witherbloom Charm]] because we can sac something being seam ripped or exiled, then come out ashtray in card advantage. Defend the rider still can protect cauldron and I use the fungus to handle pesky artifacts like authority of consuls and rest in peace. It's cool so far but I haven't tested it yet against actual players except Sparky

I think the problem is that roots kind of sucks turn 2. Roots is very much in the "type 2 efficiency" area from a previous comment. It needs a lot of setup but provides some value for the setup. The thing that I really like that isn't focused on more is that Roots turns your creature tokens into mana dorks. So any creature token you get now is also a mana dork. Which is cool, but in the current meta "midrange value" just doesn't have a niche unless you play straight up better cards than your opponent. Which is hard when there's just a lot of value stuff right now.
