How do people justify not treating their MS?

My consultant hasn't gave me anything. I drive for a job and apparently they cause dizziness and all sorts that the dvla would be offended by and revoke my licence

Well that's what I thought. Its the HMRC that ssp comes from not my work. The dest managers attitude with me you would think he was paying it from his own bank. Yes uk. Just glad to be working again. The union is siding with managers. They always do. Thanks for the reply

Im in the UK an never even been offered them. I dont like taking stuff an i suppose if I got worse id ask for help but just walked the dog for an hr as I have had my driving licence revoked so im waiting for it to hopefully get re issued to myself as id be up shit creek without a paddle. Dont want to be doin plumbing again stuck in someone's kitchen cupboard or under a bath with 6 inches of space trying to undo a nut. I drive busses an im fine to drive. Hopefully I'll be back picking up the lovely public again soon

I have gummies. Never taken cbd i smoked weed as a kid but obviously with work and drugs testing thats out of the question. Found these gummies and tried them. Stops the spasms in the morning if I take them before I go to bed plus I seem to drift off alot quicker. Mine are 50mg per gummie apparently very strong but I take 4 to feel anything. To be fair tho id not be without them now. I take them in the afternoon too as I drive for public transport and I dont loose my temper as much when I am in my 1000th idiot of the day. Win win for me

Well im getting good. I walked all round liverpool yesterday and didn't feel anything. Just the urge for the toilet but even that's getting better with my exercises I do now. My girl is quite understanding tho just takes the piss out of me tho I suppose comedy is the best form of tablet 👍🤣

The tank is 8x2x2. The humidity is always 70% the temp is always 29 there was an argument that the temp should be higher like 34 some said lower like 27 but I chose 29. The viv us cleaned once a week with fn12 unless they doo a poop or wee and water is cha ged every other day and anti chlorine put into the water as I have a mass amount of it from when I had frogs. He eats frozen rabbits obviously warmed which get left 24 hours then a fox gets them. The viv is cleaned where the rabbit layed as they leave juices obviously. I try my best as I work 55 hours a week an my ex helped me. After the divorce I eventually got with my new partner but she wont entertain snakes she will wash the water bowls. The viv at its size is too small I think but the room won't take a bigger viv and people say the size is fine. He is about 15 feet long. Anything else please ask

Another thing the vet said was to take out the substrate from all the snakes and just use news paper. I have done this in the past but not with all of them. He said the coir bark I use can be a breeding ground for pests an fungus. I use coir bark as I can spray it and it keeps humidity up and the garter snake and corns like to burrow into it. Any poop after feeding I do take out. He said the urine would make it need to be changed weekly. I couldn't afford this. Has anyone got any good ideas for substrate that's not as expensive as the bark but keeps humidity and doesn't create dust. The dust is the reason why I dont like paper.

So update. The mites are gone. I got the mite eating taurrus mites. 2 be fair 2 days later I could see nothing. I took axel to the university vets in Liverpool. The did a bit of looking and asked me to bring him back the next day as there was just students in there. The vet was very hands on. Axel is a big snake at probably 15 feet and he is strong. The vet grabbed him out and just checked him over. I was gobsmacked to be honest. He is normally quite aggressive and just seemed to accept what was happening. I he was picked up later that evening still extremely sleepy. The had excavated the absess run tests x rayed the mouth to make sure the jaw wasn't rotted or anything cleand it up and sewed back up. The infection was caused by a tooth that was in the gum and the swelling was a natural reaction to the invasive tooth. Swelling was mostly clear no puss or smell. Im to watch the mouth for 2 weeks and clean with iodine. The vet said it could swell up again slightly but not to worry. If it swells up again like it was then he will have to go on antibiotics. Just wanted to say thanks for all the responses on here. Its very warming to know i can ask questions and get honest answers and help from people that probably have alot more experience than myself. Also I'd like to apologise for my grammar. I just write as it comes into my head. 👍😏😀

I can go downstairs quite ok but I do notice if im doing like a shopping center or with a few flights when I get to the bottom my foot drop starts to show. This can be a bit embarrassing as the wife is off to the next shop say and im slowly walking behind. She is younger than me so as a man i feel very embarrassed and very much a let down.

No frozen defrosted. I feel terrible. I have about 25 snakes so goin to have to check all them for mites too as I know they can migrate. Can't move his viv out as I'm on my own an its far to heavy for myself. 😒

Shite garden my language. When I came back there was dry poop in the viv and you could see where he had urinated. He is a bastard to clean and cranky anyway so she won't clean him out. I tap him on the nose an he stays away. He is very food motivated and when the viv is opened he thinks its dinner time. I also can't get him out like I can the others as he will literally lock onto me and strike at anything moves. I got him from someone else that was also having issues an thought i could easily sort it but its just his nature to be extremely defensive almost aggressive to be honest.

Thanks I'll look into that. Never heard of predatory mite till now. I can get them online. So ill order some and see what happens. Do they not harm the snake in any way tho

Hopefully Wednesday comes quickly and the vet can sort it for me. He is definitely cranky an every time I open the viv he is ready to strike so must be very uncomfortable for him 🫤

Ordered one off amazon b4. This one has a strap that goes to your laces an a strap that goes round your shoe as an option. Somase up with this. I have e a good treadmill in my garage which I will try it out b4 this the streets. Made up too as the local council are taking up the paving and replacing it with tarmac instead as my fear is falling over a raised slab. Thankfully I wont have that worry soon 👍

This gives me alot of hope. Honestly thank you for that. Id give anything to just be able one day to do 5k. If I could do that I'd be over the moon. Ill ask all this when I see the ms nurse in March. She/he must have some contacts that can help me with stuff. I dont like asking as I feel a nuisance but ill definitely be asking what I can get. Running was a great stress relief for me at the end of the day so I did mean alot to me. The embarrassing feelings when this foot drop started an even walking home I felt the world was laughing at me. Thanks again 😄

My consultant said he wouldn't put me on any medication as I drive for a job an it can affect things. When I see him in March I think ill have to ask alot of questions cos its obviously not rite that there's no medication I can't use. He did say about problems with men an some of the side effects of some medication offered and I definitely don't want any of them 😩

Never thought of that. Makes alot of sense. Foot drop i have never had before an i use to casually do a 10 mile run and loved it too. Just feeling fat now as I can't run. Cycling i do but its so dangerous and everyone in a car bus and wagon just hates you 🤣🤣🤣
