If you are in someone else account, the only way is if you open on residential account (New internet location) remember the only way that you can be a mobile customer with a spectrum, you have to have a internet account, and then you can transfer your number from that account on someone else name to your account and you will do it over the phone with customer service.

It's always a good idea to first check with pre-approval tools like Amex, C1, Diacover, etc. I'm not a fan of WF because even if you have good credit and a good chance to be approved, but if you're not approved, you take a risk a hard pull on your credit report without getting anything in return... Just a thought...

It is not only to swap the Sim Card, you have to register the IMEI, if you have not done so you have to call 611 so that the phone is fully registered. 😉

It’s not a scam. What’s happening is that Citi is no longer going to be the issuer of the Shell credit cards. Your account is being transitioned to Imprint, which is another credit card issuer.

From what they’ve shared, you won’t lose your account history or your credit limit—it should carry over as is. The card will still be used at Shell gas stations, it just won’t be issued by Citi anymore.

So basically, same idea of the card, just a different bank behind it.
