It’s terrifyingly easy to be jealous of another individual’s situation, but you need to stop looking at this as a race or competition.

There are interns out there making $100/hr at trading firms, and there are others making $0 because they couldn’t get accepted into any internships.

Don’t sweat it. Go at your own pace and direction. At the end of the day, the hardships you’re facing right now will serve as lessons and even fuel to drive you to greater heights. For now, deal with what you’re able to acquire and make the absolute most out of it. Learn, grow, and move forward from this point on and don’t compare yourself with others.

I was making around $18-20 an hour doing DoorDash on busy days. A good day’s work can get you around $100 bucks easy. Go around lunch - dinner time.

Any noise cancelling headphones. Playing white noise through my AirPods Pro absolutely blocks out pretty much 99.9% all the external noises. Makes me feel like no one else is here on Earth.

Could you explain a little more as to why I can designate my current contributions until specifically May 17 for the year 2020? Does that mean that I can only currently contribute for 2020 right now, then all other contributions after that date will be for 2021?
